I am so excited. I was nominated to go in the running to win a Sunsuper $5000 grant. I would use this money to purchase much need equipment to help me with the wildlife surveys and studies in the Moreton Bay region.
Since winning the Young Citizen of the Year 2014 for Moreton Bay I have been itching to help my home by raising awareness of the beauty that surrounds the Moreton Bay region.
Sadly it all takes money to purchase the motion sensor cameras etc and as you know, I always give 100% of the profits to the charities I put on events for.
We had to create Wildlife Emergency to help us with our events when other charities that we were fund raising for wouldn’t cover us in their insurances etc. I am so glad now that even though we had the expense of doing this now I have my own Not For Profit organisation that will help me save our wildlife and other conservation projects.
